Permilia was born in 1826. She is the daughter of William Winchester and Pollie Winchester. She married William Hudson in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. [1][2] She died 19 May 1847 in Monroe, North Carolina.[3]

May 27, 1847 Departed this life, at Monroe, Union County, on the 19th inst., after a protracted and painful illness, which she bore with Christian patience and resignation, Mrs. Pamelia A. Hudson, consort of Wm. Hudson, and daughter of W. D. and Mary Winchester. Mrs. Hudson at an early period of life, made a profession of religion and connected herself with the Methodist Episcopal Church, lived a consistent Christian life, and died in the confortable hope of a blessed immortality. A consolation to her bereaved husband, child and afflicted family and friends. "Blessed are the dead, who lie in the Lord!"[3]
