Biography
Samuel Winders was born on November 11, 1797, in Washington, Maryland. His parents were John Winder and Elizabeth (Earhart) Winder.
He married Susan Newcomer on June 9, 1823, in his hometown. [1]
In 1850 they were living in Washington, Maryland with 8 children. [2]
In 1860 they were living in Maryland with 3 children. [3]
His wife died in 1864.
In 1870 he was 73 and living in Maryland. [4]
He died on November 14, 1878, in Clear Spring, Maryland.
