Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1757. She was the daughter of Other Lewis Windsor, fourth Earl of Plymouth and Hon. Catherine Archer.
She married Gore Townsend (son of Joseph Townsend) on 30 March 1776.
They had at least seven children, four of whom sadly pre-deceased her.
Elizabeth passed away in 1821 at the age of about 64.

Inscription:
To the memory of The Right Hon.ble Lady Elizabeth Townsend wife of Gore Townsend Esq and daughter of the Other Lewis Windsor, fourth Earl of Plymouth, who died April 2nd, 1821 age 64. Also to the memory of four of their children. Charles a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy who died in the West Indies, November 25th 1803 aged 19. Eliza, wife of Edward G Morant Gale Esq, who died December 31st 1807 aged 30. Louisa, wife of John Fullerton Esq, who died May 4th 1818 aged 36. Thomas their eldest son who married Mary Ann, daughter of the Right Hon. Lord Stowell and died without issue April 26th 1820 aged 39.
