Biography
The Wines family moved from England to Charlestown, Massachusetts (Bay Colony) about 1630-40. From there they went to Southold, Long Island (Now part of New York State).
Research Notes
Cannot find any record of a Benjamin Wines / Windes / Wynes in or around Suffolk, England or Southold, New York from 1500–1800. Both broad and focused searches on Ancestry.com, FindMyPast.com, and Family Search. No mention in genealogy records of Barnabas Wines, the first migrant of the Wines family during The Great Migration, or subsequent generations in New York. -M.
