Gershom was a Friend (Quaker)

Gershom was born on 2d 12m 1744/5 [24 Feb 1745] in Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts.^[1] He was the son of Jedediah Wing and Elizabeth Bowerman (Gifford) Wing.^[1]

He married Rebecca Chase, daughter of Daniel and Hannah Chase, on 12d 9m 1764 [12 Sep 1764], at Oblong.^[2]

He died about 1825 in Athens, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada. He was buried in Quaker Cemetery.^[3]
