Abraham was born in 1754, Dutchess County, New York.[1] He was the son of Edward Tucker Wing and Content (Wood) Wing.[1] His mother died giving birth to him and his twin brother Russell. He was taken under care of William and Mary Thomas.[1]
He acknowledged at the Oblong monthly meeting on 21d 1m 1773 [21 Jan 1773].[2] He was disowned on 15d 11m 1775 [15 Nov 1775] for marrying out of unity.[3]
