In 1807, Stephen Wing married Dolly Wyman in Mount Vernon, Kennebec, Maine. There are two entries in the Maine Marriages database, one in January of that year and one for March 5th, 1807. The first was perhaps the date their intention to marry was filed, the second perhaps the date of their actual marriage.
In the 1850 US Census, Stephen, 61 and a farmer, was living in Stetson, Penobscot, Maine, with 47 year-old [[Wing-2610}Amy Wing]], who he had married as his second wife. His son Stephen Jr. was living on one side of him, his son Howard on the other.
In the 1860 US Census, Stephen, presumably a widower, was living with his son Howard, a farmer, and Howard's family in Stetson, Penobscot, Maine.
In the 1870 US Census, enumerated on the 4th of August, Stephen was 82 and still living with his son Howard's family in Stetson. Stephen listed his occupation as farmer.
