Biography

Deborah Wing was born in 1687 Massachusetts.[1]

Deborah Whing married 15 Oct 1714 to George Weekes at Harwich, Massachusetts. [2] [3]

  • Mehitable Weeks, b. 21 Apr 1717; m. 26 Oct Eleazer Robbins; d. bef. 1753.
  • Deborah Weeks, b. 26 Jul 1718; m. 6 Feb 1738/9 William Penny, Jr.; r. to Duchess Co., N.Y abt 1747.
  • Ammiel Weeks, b. 10 Apr 1720.
  • Hannah Weeks, b. 21 Sep 1721; m. 2 Mar 1741/2 jonathan Smalley, Jr. of Harwich; r. to Chatham; she d. at age 82.
  • Elizabeth Weeks, b. 16 Sep 1724; no m. or d. record
  • (Son) Weeks, b. 24 Jan 1725/6 who d. soon; the mother d. 9 Feb following this birth.

At the age of 38, on 9 February 1725/6 Deborah Weekes died soon after the birth of her last son, who was born and died that January. Her burial location is unknown. [4]

Unable to locate a more definitive (primary) source for the birth parents of Deborah. The following records were found for the Rochester, MA Wing family (Rochester, MA is about 50 miles from Harwich but is located on the same southern side of Massachusetts. If George Weekes traveled from Dorchester to Harwich, Rochester 'is on the way' to that destination). Perhaps the following pertains to a sibling of Ananias Wing:
