The 1928 history of Livermore, Maine, says of George Curtis Wing:
Judge Wing, as he is familiarly called, was elected County Attorney three years in succession. Judge of Probate for nibe years and Senator from Androscoggin County in 1909. Colby College conferred the degree of LL.D. upon him in 1909. He is President of the Androscoggin Bar Association and was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the U. S. in 1880.[2]
Death
A graves marker at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, Maine, says that George C. Wing died on 11 Nov 1930.[3]
