Timeline

1880 The only Sarah Winklepleck listed in this census is shown as the daughter in the household of Baswell Wells (47). He is living with his sister Margaret A. Wells (25) and his mother Myria Wells (80). A little more research needs to be done -- is Sarah the daughter of Baswell or Margaret? Did her parents die? Fiscus-32 10:50, 1 October 2014 (EDT) [4]

1891 When Sarah is 20 years old, she marries Cary Fiscus in Owen County, Indiana on 18 October.[2]

1892 Leonard is born in November.[1][5]

1893 Ora is born on 28 December.[5]

1896 Roy is born in July. Presumably, Paul is born, too, but he has not shown up in any censuses yet.[5]

1898 Ray is born; although, I have a feeling that this may have been a miscalculation by the census taker, and this is actually Roy again.[6]

1899 Ervin (Irvin) is born in April.[5]

1900 Cary and Sarah are living in Jefferson Township, Owen County, Indiana. They have four children: Leonard (8), Ora M. (7), Roy A. (4) and Irvin R. (1).[5] Roy is one of the twins (the other was Paul) who Lovell states died in infancy.[1]

1904 Raymond is born on 28 February.[6][7] The family moves to Urbana, Illinois in April of this year. They moved into a house on S. Walnut Street.[8]

1906 May (Mae) is born.[6]

1920 Cary and Sarah have moved to Champaign, Illinois. They have four children -- Ray (22), Ervin ("Irbin") (20), Raymond (15) and May ("Mae") (14). There are also two roomers livings with them: Hiram Wilsey, age 60, and George Garrison, age 50.[6]

bef. 1927 May marries Harold Gauble.[3]

1929 Raymond dies on 15 October at Burnham Hospital in Champaign, Illinois.[7]

1933 Sarah passes away on 23 September.[9]
