Maria Winkler was born on 17 Jan 1875 in the Hoffnungstal, Bessarabia, Russian Empire. She was the daughter of Alois Winkler 1831-1893 and Margaretha "Margaret" Schenkel 1853-1930,[1]
She was the wife of Gottlieb Schulz, and mother of Martha Marie (Schulz) (Peck) Gerber. Maria Winkler died on 11 May 1954 in Baker, Montana, and is buried in the Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker, Montana.[2]
