Biography

"Jacob Winn, late of Vermont, blue eyes, grey hair, about six feet high, born in Oban [Woburn], Massachusetts Bay, sixty years old, of the people called Quakers, having made the solemn affirmation of allegiance in the presence of Almighty God as prescribed by law, do subscribe the same at York in the Province of Upper Canada this 11th day of December 1804. Affirmed before me, Will. Willocks, JP"[1]
