Biography
When Flarice Winn was born on June 11, 1900, in Canon, Georgia, her father, Charles, was 27, and her mother, Sarah, was 19. She married John Gordon Sewell when she was 24 years old;[1] they had three children. John died in 1961 and Flarice died on August 19, 1986,[2] in DeKalb County, Georgia[3] at the age of 86, and was buried in her hometown.[4]
