William was born in 1839. He was the son of Francis Winn and Avarilla Finch. He passed away in 1912.

Winn (age 14 and b. in AL), Francis A. Winn (age 10 and b. in TX), Nancy Harlan (age 74 and b. in VA), Emmarrette Winn (age 17 and b. in TN) and Gus H. Winn (age 12 and b. TN).
