DEATH OF JUDGE WINN

Judge Cicero C. Winn died at his home about three miles north of Marietta, Friday morning, the 15th of this month, about three O'Clock, at an advanced age. Judge Winn was well and favorably known to our people. Years ago he was city clerk for several terms. In recent years he has been repeatedly elected Justice of the Peace of Marietta District, which office he filled acceptably to the people. He was a well posted lawyer and his rulings were generally correct. His wife died several months ago, but he has a number of grown children living, to whom we tender our sympathy. They are as follows: Mr. W. T. Chastain of Kennesaw; Mrs. M. M. McCutcheon, Mrs. A. L. Sexton and Mr. E. L. Winn of Birmingham, Alabama; Mrs. E. L. Lipford, of Memphis, Tennessee; Mrs. G. W. Campbell and Mr. C. H. Winn of Marietta; and Mrs. J. D. Patterson of Macon.

The remains were interred in the City Cemetery on Sunday morning. Dr. C. E. W. Dobbs conducted the funeral at the grave.
