Leslie was born in 1900. He was the son of Seymour Winne and Louise Sally. ^[1]

He married Ethel Brown in 1925.

Obituary

WINNE -Leslie Winne, 70, Bradenton, Fla., died 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 1871, in his winter home in Bradenton, Fla., after a year's illness. Born June 2, 1900 in Belvidere Township, Belvidere, Ill., son of Seymour and Elizabeth Salley Winne. Lived all his life in the Caledonia area. Married to the former Ethel Brown in Winnebago county, Jan. 21, 1925. He was a retired farmer. Member of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, and of the Men's Club of that church.

Survivors include: his widow, Ethel; a daughter, Mrs. William (Betty) Camp, Caledonia; two grandchildren, Lisa Winne and Daniel Camp, Caledonia; two brothers, Ray, Poplar Grove; and George, Caledonia. Preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Kenneth, two sisters, Mrs. Grace Totz and Flossie Winne, and one brother, Floyd.

Services at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, in WITBECK-WHEELER-SABIEN FUNERAL HOME, 203 Logan Ave., Belvidere, with the Rev. Lester Reemstma pastor of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial in Scottish Cemetery, Argyle. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Saturday until time of service Sunday. A memorial has been established for the Willow Creek Presbyterian Church.^[3]
