Thomas Winslow was born on January 8, 1745, in Perquimans, North Carolina, the son of Mary and John. He married Elizabeth Phelps on January 13, 1768. They had nine children. Thomas was a Quaker, slave owner, and participated in the American Revolution. He died on January 29, 1826, in Randolph, North Carolina, having lived a long life of 81 years.

1. Peter Andrew Winslow-3418
According to Thomas's will, his sons Henry Winslow-1005 and Eleazar were to have the care of the slave, Peter Andrew, to make sure his freedom is not disrupted and the title to land for Peter until he could be lawfully emancipated.
Peter Andrew/Winslow sold land and moved to Henry County, Indiana. There he purchased 80 acres from the government on 26 June 1827. In 1850 Peter Winslow was listed on the 1850 U.S. Census with Real Estate value of $3000. Joseph and Daniel Winslow lived in the next two households.
Thomas was born in 1745. He passed away in 1826.
