He was born on 06 Aug 1725 in Freetown, Bristol County, Massachusetts and was the son of Elizabeth (Carpenter) and James Winslow, Sr.

James Winslow, Jr. married on 05 Jul 1753 in Falmouth, Cumberland County, Massachusetts (now Maine) to Anna McCausland Huston.

He died on 16 Nov 1802 in Farmington, Franklin County, Maine, USA.
