Biography
Esther Jane Winslow was born on 28 May 1833 in Perquimans County, North Carolina, United States, daughter of Lancelot Bell Winslow (1784–1856) and Elizabeth Winslow (1797–1871).[1]
Her siblings were:

- Jesse Bell Winslow (born 20 December 1820)
- Exum Bell Winslow (born 22 May 1823)
- Thomas Alexander Winslow (born 11 December 1828)

Esther (21) married John Allen Winslow (20) (born in Perquimans, North Carolina) on 22 February 1855 in Perquimans County. Their known children were:
- Elisha Samuel Winslow (born 23 October 1856)
- Pleasant Ann Winslow (born 13 August 1862)
- Emma Jane Winslow (born 13 February 1865)
Esther died on 30 May 1865 in North Carolina, aged 32. She was buried in Up River Cemetery, Nicanor, Perquimans County, North Carolina.[1]
