Charles was born September 25, 1921 in Belvidere, Perquimans County, North Carolina, United States. He was the son of Charlie Winslow and Mary White. He passed away February 17, 2006 in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank County, North Carolina, United States.
Charles was buried in February, 2006 at the Westlawn Cemetery in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank County, North Carolina, United States.
Charles Kenneth Winslow, 84, of 1506 West Main Street, Elizabeth City, North Carolina died Friday February 17, 2006, at his residence.
He was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church since 1949, a former church choir member, veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during World War II, and a retired carpenter and building supply salesman.
Survivors include his wife; Mattie Hendren Winslow, daughter Linda W. Biggs and husband Robert Wayne Biggs of Elizabeth City, son Kenneth Stephen Winslow of Elizabeth City, sisters Ruth W. Layden and Clara W. Hendren both of Hertford, NC., brothers Clinton Ray Winslow of Hertford and Ernest Melvin Winslow of Elizabeth City, four grandchildren Daun B. Belangia and husband Jason, Brian W. Biggs and wife Shawn, Heather B. Winslow and husband Jeffrey and Stephanie W. Walters and husband Brannon, eight great-grandchildren; Leah Vaughan, Olivia Vaughan, Hunter Belangia, Brennan, Carson, Avery and Sam Biggs and Jett Winslow.
He was preceded in death by sisters; Olive W. Cullipher and Bernice W. Chappell, and brothers Arnold W. Winslow, Robert E. Winslow and Chester T. Winslow.
