I'm confused about the ancestry.com link in the sources. None of the dates/name seem to match this individual. Was, perhaps, the wrong link included?

There was a Sarah Winstead who is listed as a slave in the 1850 Census. I do not know if there is a family connection or not.

Winstead-325 and Winstead-171 appear to represent the same person because: Joel Cobb (who is probably NOT the son of Edward and Winifred) only had one wife. Murrell was her daughter's married name
