Research Notes
The obituary[2] cited on the FindAGrave memorial has one known flaw and one suspected flaw. The marriage date is one day off - correct is 8 Feb 1947 per the marriage record[1]. It records Jane's mother's maiden name as "Mary Jane Wilson". While the "Jane" could well be a possible formal name which was not normally used there is NO corroborating source for having "Mary" in the name. See a discussion of this in the research notes in the profile of Janie (Wilson) Winstead.
