Mary married Robert J Walmsley in 1887, so possibly not the Robert Walmsley, son of Joseph Walmsley and Bridget Powers. Possible death in New Zealand: "New Zealand, Civil Records Indexes, 1800-1966," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGXS-WZVB : 4 January 2018), Mary Walmsley, 1947; citing Death, New Zealand, registration number 1947/19880, Archives of New Zealand, Wellington.
The Mary Winter who married Robert Walmsley doesn't seem to be the Mary Winter (1856-) who was born in 1856 has parents Joseph and Sarah.
She passed away in 1904. [2]
No death for Mary Walmsley with the right parents in 1904. Death indexes for a Mary Walmsley in 1904:

Joseph Walmsley and Bridget Power had a son Robert born 1856 Registration No 6241/1856 ( I do not know if his middle name was Joseph) As you say, they married in 1887 and had one son that I know of Harold born 1890 Registration No 9418/1890 .
My understanding is that Mary Winter , daughter of Joseph Winter and Sarah Worthington was born 19 Oct 1956 at Goulburn NSW.
