Apparently a niece of James' - Mary Winter daughter of Dr. William Winter, died in 1956. According to a letter of February 5, 1957 in possession of Mrs. Pat Williams in Hurstpierpoint, the Urquhart Solicitors, after Mary Winters death undertook a search to trace all the nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and gran-nieces in connection with a Trust Fund left by the late Dr. Winter. For this purpose a family tree was established. In July 1989 Mr. Urquhart on request found this tree, containing many useful details, among the papers filed away.
