Obituary: The Hustisford News. Hustisford, Wisconsin. November 12, 1943, Fri. Page 2
Howard Irving Winter, aged 48, who has been in failing health for the past three years, passed away from a heart attack while hunting on Horicon Marsh Thursday afternoon. He had gone hunting on the marsh earlier that day and when he did not return at six o'clock that evening, his brothers, Frank and William Winter, organized a search party. They had known where he was going to hunt and soon located his car, but it was until midnight that his lifeless body was found, a victim of a heart attack.
