Dorothy was born in Deptford, London on 19 December 1919, she was the first child of Francis Winton and Ada King. [1]
She married Reginald John Appleton in Deptford in 1940 [2]
Following her divorce from Reginald, she then married Eric Rutherford in Barnet on 14 Aug 1959. [3]
Eric and Dorrie lived in Bognor Regis for many years, and took their family holidays in The Scilly Isles, Cornwall. Dorrie passed away in Bognor on 22 January 2006, following a short illness of pneumonia. [4][5]
