Biography
Her full name was probably Mary Ann Wise since her paternal aunt's name was Mary Ann.
Circumstantial and DNA triangulation evidence suggests that she was the daughter of Thomas Wise, son of Thomas and Sarah (Lewis) Wise, of Prince George's County, Maryland.
It's logical that she was the daughter of Thomas Wise since he was the only Wise in Loudoun County, VA from 1810-1820 that had daughters listed in the 1810 census and Thomas Wise lived in close proximity to Travers Payne in the 1820 and 1830 censuses.
Mary Wise Payne died in May 1844 in Loudoun County, Virginia.[1]
