Biography

In 1880, E R Wiseman and wife Fanny were living on 2nd Street in Grand Island Nebraska where E R was employed as a grain dealer. Living at home were children Alice (19), Eleonora (10), Genevieve (5) and Ralph (1).[1]

In 1900, Ralph was 21 years old and living with his sister Nora and her family at North Platte in Lincoln County, Nebraska where he worked for a telephone company.[2]

On April 27, 1903, Ralph Beauchamp Wiseman and Bernice M Kelly were married at Helena, Montana. Ralph, 24, a resident of Helena, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska to Enoch Rector Wiseman and Frances Regina Beauchamp. Bernice, 23, a resident of Helena was born at Glenwood, Iowa to Parl P Kelley and Mary Ellen Baker.[3]

By 1910, Ralph and Bernice had moved to Washington and were living at Aberdeen in Chehalis County. Ralph was self-employed as a real estate agent and his partner, James A Chamberlin (30), lived with the couple.[4]

At time of the WWI Draft registration in 1918, Ralph, age 39, was self-employed as an electrician and living at 4th Street in Ellensburg with his wife. Birth was cited as March 10, 1879. He was described as tall and slender with grey eyes and brown hair.[5]

In 1920, Ralph and Bernice were living on Sixth Street at Ellensburg in Kittitas, Washington. Ralph was working as an electrical contractor.[6]

Sometime prior to 1929 Ralph and Bernice divorced. Both would remarry prior to 1940.

In both 1929 and 1931 Ralph and Jessie Wiseman were living in Ellensburg. Ralph worked at Electric Supply & Fixture Co.[7]

In 1940, Ralph and wife Jessie were living in an apartment in Ellensburg. Ralph was manager of an electrical contracting company.[8]

Ralph and Jessie were living at Castle Apartments in Ellensburg in 1949.[9]

Ralph died on May 18, 1966 in Seattle, Washington where he was a resident.[10] He was buried at IOOF Cemetery in Ellensburg.[11]
