Was a convict who arrived in New South Wales, Australia in 1806 on the ship "Alexander." Was the proprietor of Wiseman's Ferry. In 1808/1809 a rumour started that Solomon Wiseman and Andrew Thompson operated an illicit still on Scotland Island on the Hawkesbury River. Rum was distilled and later sold through Andrew Thompson's Windsor Store.
