N431Wilbur W. Wiseman was born in Monroe County, West Virginia, went to Ohio with his parents when yet a boy. He was a farmer and stock raiser by occupation. He held the offices of Justice of the Peace and county commissioner and represented his county in the legislature of Ohio from 1890-91. He was a volunteer in the Civil War, but was rejected on account of physical disability. A lover of games and sports, he was partial to chase. His death occurred at his home in Lawrence county.
