William Henry was born on the 1 January 1890 at 65 Cornwall Street, in Wapping-Stepney (aka Shadwell), Parish of St. George in the East, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, in Middlesex & London, England^[1]. He was the son of Frederick Wiseman and Eleanor "Ellen" Boorman.

He is still a patient at the Napsbury Mental Hospital, London Colney, Hertfordshire with the Register of 1939^[7].

Royal Naval Service

William Henry (Wiseman) enlists in the Royal Navy on the 7 March 1916 and is described as being 5 feet 6 inches with brown hair and eyes and a fresh complexion. He is given the Service number of J51136 and his occupation, on enlistment, is that of a Fishmonger.
