Biography

Sarah Wiswall was born on the 19th of February 1642/3 in Dorchester, Massachusetts Bay Colony, and was baptised on the 26th February in the Dorchester First Church. The record does not name her parents.^[1] She is said to be the daughter of Thomas Wiswall in the Holmes Genealogy,^[2] and the 1961 Wiswall Genealogy,^[3] and in the Parker-Ruggles Genealogy.^[4]

She married Nathaniel² Holmes before 1666,^[3] a bricklayer and the son of George¹ Holmes. Nathaniel was born in Roxbury on 01 February 1639 and died in Roxbury in 1711. No record of their marriage has been found.^[2][5]

Sarah died before Nathaniel's second marriage in Mar 1667.
