Benjamin married Ruth Ayer on 9 June 1757 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.[1]

Benjamin served in sea coast defense as a private in Captain Daniel Warner's company on 1 September 1776 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts Bay.[2][3][4]

Benjamin died at the age of 78 on 10 December 1814 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts, USA.
