Ellen Withey was born in 1836, in Pomfret, Connecticut, the daughter of James Withey and Huldah Niles.
She died on January 25, 1925. She is buried with her parents, siblings and sons in the Old Trinity Church Cemetery, Brooklyn, Windham, Connecticut. Her inscription reads: Daughter of James & Huldah Withey Born June 14, 1836 Died January 20, 1925 We believe in the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting[1]
