Biography
Nancy Ellen was born 15 January 1856 in Macon County, Missouri (per her death certificate; attached). She was the daughter of David Witt and Elizabeth Mendenhall. She passed away in 1934 in Bay City, Tillamook County, Oregon.
In 1873 Nancy married William H. Heitmiller in Wilson County, Kansas. Around 1880 they moved west to Oregon where they resided until their deaths. The couple had three children, but only Lottie Elizabeth (Heitmiller) Bodle lived into adulthood.
