Biography
Sarah Witty, daughter of William Duthery Witty and Margaret Emily Brazile, was born on the 29 Aug 1872 in Crawford, Kansas.[1]
Sarah married Joseph Van Nostrand on the 7th May 1890 in Reece, Greenwood, Kansas. To this union were born at least five children; Claude, Verda, Elsie, Orval and Laura.
Sarah passed away in May of 1931 in Fairview, Major, Oklahoma.[1]
- Sarah outlived her husband by over seven years. She is buried next to him in Roscoe Cemetery near Fairview Oklahoma. Sarah was 59 years of age at the time of her death.
