Ik heb Louisa Charlotta Catharina Christina Leijsma verplaatst naar de juiste Willem Leijsma. Je had haar namelijk gekoppeld aan een Willem Leijsma die slechts vier weken oud is geworden. Je had zijn jongere broer Willem moeten hebben.

Thanks for your work on the profiles, eg of Albert Onrust (1821-1866). I use the formal in line references that are based on the scientific way to cite sources, making sure to include all required elements. It also includes the links to the big Dutch catalogue at wiewaswie. Those IDs (the bit after /detail/) are used to link persons in sources together. The tool genealogietools.nl is built around it. See the documentation of citing sources here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources#Advanced_Sourcing
When you edit sources, please bare in mind to keep all links to sources present, please do not remove any of them. In general: you keep the formatting the profile manager uses and stick to that in one profile.

Ik heb uw aanpassing in de biografie van Gepke Ynes (Ynes-3) weer teruggezet naar de oorspronkelijke tekst dat Gepke Ynes (Ynes-4) een broertje was en niet een zusje. De oudere Gepke Ynes van 1769 (Ynes-3) staat wel vermeld als dochter in het doopboek maar ik twijfel er aan of het wel een meisje was want ze is vernoemd naar haar opa Gepke. Dit is in deze tak van mijn kwartierstaat een echte mannennaam. Ik laat Ynes-3 dus maar als meisje op Wikitree staan omdat het doopboek dat zegt en er geen andere bronnen zijn om dat te bevestigen of te ontkennen. Maar van Ynes-4 weet ik dus heel zeker dat het geen meisje is.

Dat ik in de biografie van jongere broer Gepke een dochter heb gemaakt is mijn fout. Ik heb inderdaad zijn overlijdensakte gezien. Met betrekking tot Ynes-3 zou het heel goed een verschrijving in het doopboek kunnen zijn geweest. Ik ken eigenlijk alleen maar vrouwelijke Gepkes. Misschien dat de dominee er ook vanuit ging dat deze Gepke een dochter was.

Sieger is the son of Ietje Visser (1946-2002) [unknown confidence] 2. Ietje is the daughter of Hendrikje Alma (1926-2009) 3. Hendrikje is the daughter of Andrieske Bekkema (1883-1969) 4. Andrieske is the daughter of Jelle Bekkema (1850-1927) 5. Jelle is the son of Andries Jakobs Bekkema (1819-1884) 6. Andries Jakobs is the son of Jacob (Pieters) Bekkema (1786-1871) This makes Jacob the fourth great grandfather of Sieger.

We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities

Altijd bereid om te helpen. Heb zo geen idee wat ik zou kunnen doen binnen het project. Roep maar als jullie iemand nodig hebben. Dan laat ik wel weten of ik op dat moment tijd heb en of het inderdaad iets voor me is.

Beetje suffig van me dat ik je in het Engels benaderde, had beter moeten kijken...
Bedankt voor je snelle en positieve reactie. We zijn bezig een lijst met interessegebieden op te stellen. Uit jouw antwoord maak ik op dat je breed inzetbaar zou kunnen zijn. Met, neem ik aan, Friesland als specifiek aandachtsgebied. Zal dat zonder tegenbericht jouwerzijds in de lijst noteren. Na evaluatie van alle reacties hopen we erop terug te kunnen komen met specifieke rollen en activiteiten. Meerdere leden hebben al een Friese voorkeur uitgesproken, en Friesland heeft van alle provincies de meeste profielen hier, zo'n 67.000 dus daar is ongetwijfeld nog wel iets te doen op het gebied van Sourcing en Data Doctoring.
