Biography

Ariel was born in 1790, son of Alvin and Lois (Turrell) Wolcott.

About 1814, he married Phoebe Denton. They had four children:^[1]

1. Loriane
2. Acsah (b-1818) married Burrows
3. Judson (b-1824)
4. Edwin (b-1827)

In 1832 Phoebe died. Ariel remarried to Mrs. Sylvia (Smith) Rowley. They had two children:^[2]

1. Phoebe (b-1834) married Upson
2. Alvin S (b-1840)

Ariel died in 1870.
