Agnes O. Haavig Agnes O. Haavig, age 87, passed away Monday, February 21, 2005.^[2] She was born January 23, 1918, in Crosby, North Dakota, to Hans and Sophie Wold. ^[3]She loved traveling the U.S. and Europe. Agnes was an avid reader, loved music and gambling in Reno. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially the card games with them. Agnes enjoyed going to the theater and concerts. Family was most precious to her; including passing down Norwegian traditions. Agnes was involved with the Girl Scouts for many years. She retired from Seattle National Bank after 25 years of service. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, in 1997.
