Jacob was born in 1805, the child of Peter Wolf and Nancy Richmond. He married Maria Coggins in Knox County, Ohio, in 1835, [1]
and they had at least 5 children: Margaret (1837), Emeretta (1847), Adaline (1849, Marion (1851) and Viola (1854). Jacob passed away in 1894 at the age of 88 years 10 months 26 days (birth calculated from this) [2] and is buried at Martinsburg Presbyterian Cemetery in Knox County, Ohio.[3]
