Biography

Opha Wolfe was born on 4 May 1884 a son of John Wesley and Amanda L. (Jones) Wolf [2]. Born, raised, married, farmed, and owned a General Store in the Glenville district, Gilmer County, West Virginia [1]. Between 1910 and 1914 three Wolf cousins, William Opha and John Wesley and John Wesley and their children began spelling their name Wolfe. In 1934 a still was found on his farm and his wife, Dora, with their children moved to Morgan County, Ohio where Opha's brother, John lived. Opha followed and was a dairy farmer in Morgan County. Opha Wolfe died at home on 31 May 1855 [6] He and Dora are buried at Pennsville Cemetery, Pennsville, Morgan, Ohio [7].
