Asa was born in 1863. He was the son of Alem Wolfe and Barbara Unknown. He passed away in 1911. [1]

Asa came to Nebr. with his parents in a covered wagon in 1879. Asa and Carrie had five children. Besides Elsie there was Lawrence Alem (1895-1945), Rozella Ann (b. 1897), Iva Ellen (1900- 1983),Lloyd Albert (1909-1944). After Asa died, Carrie m. Milo Whiteman (1875-1948) 09/09/1915. Carrie and Milo had Claude Dayton, b. 1917. Milo was previously m. toMaude May Wolfe, dau. of Jordan Wolfe, brother of Alem. He brought three children from that marriage
