Biography

Jacob was born about 1823. He was the son of Philipp Martin Wolf and Catherina Elisabetha Hachelbergern.^[1]

He is believed to have arrived, about aged 8, in the New York, United States from Le Havre, France on 11 May 1833, on the ship Charlemagne.^[2]

Jacob married Elizabeth Demmer about 1844. They had eight children:

• Ludwig Wolfe - born 1852
• Caterina Wolfe - born 1854

They lived in Logan, Perth, Canada West in 1861.^[6]

Elizabeth passed away in 1863. Jacob married his second wife, Georgine Brodhagen, on 28 Aug 1864 in Perth, Canada West. ^[1] They had about nine children, including:
