Biography

John was born in 1887. He passed away in 1954.

John was fifth child born to John and Eliza Jane Sheppard Wolfe. He married Ida Mae Scott on March 18, 1908 in Piatt County, Illinois.

Together they had eight children: four sons and four daughters. Their children names were Olin Burr, Velna Rosetta, Dale Thorton, Marian Ida, Betty Lou, John William, Francis Eugene and Dorothy June.

John's siblings names were Mary Elma, Anna Elizabeth, Eddie and Alice Rosetta.

When John's mother died his father did remarried.

When John died survivors included four sons, three daughters, twenty one granddaughters, seven grandsons and five great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents, step mother, his wife Ida on June 17, 1935, a daughter, a brother and three sisters.
