Biography

Anne was born in 1800 at Brinklow, Warwickshire, England, and was baptised there on 28 Dec 1800. Her parents were recorded as being Solomon Wolfe and Elizabeth (Elizabeth Packwood). [1]

Brinklow is a village located about 10 km east of Coventry.

On 15 Oct 1822 Anne married Daniel Smith, of Withybrook, at Monks Kirby, Warwickshire, England. [2]

However, when their first child was born (in 1823) their residence was recorded as Combe Fields, which is a rural area with no village, located immediately south of Withybrook.
The following two children (in 1825 and 1827) were recorded as being born at Shilton, 3km west - adjacent to Ansty.
These three children were all baptised at St John the Baptist church in Brinklow, Warwickshire, which is a large village, and is the next village to the south of Combe Fields.

Daniel and Anne moved into Ansty at this time, and three more children were born, and these were baptised in Ansty. The family was then:

Mary - (baptised) 1823
William - 1825
Betsy - 1827
Jane - 1832
George - 1834
Daniel - 1837

In July of 1868, Anne died, and was buried at St James Parish Church, Ansty, Warwickshire, England. [3]
