Lewis Ludwig Wolf was born on 24 Oct 1767 in Frederick County, Maryland. He passed away on 11 Nov 1841 in Monongalia, Virginia, United States. West Virginia was recognized by the U.S. government as the thirty-fifth state on June 20,1863[1] So he was born, died, and buried in Virginia, but where Lewis was buried is now in West Virginia. He is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Monongalia County, West Virginia, USA.
