Richard was the son of Peter and Elizabeth Wolfe. According to Reflections, Peter Wolfe and his family came to McNairy County from North Carolina. Richard bought and died on the H. Boatman farm, just North of Sulphur Springs. [1]
Richard is living with his mother and siblings in the 1850 Hardin County, Tennessee 9th Civil District census. Their nearest neighbor is his brother, Nicholas Wolfe, age 31, and his family. [2]
Richard and his small family are living in the 2nd District of McNairy, Tennessee in the 1860 Census.[3]
Richard died before Feb 1866, when his estate inventory was documented. Eliza Wolf was the administrator.[4]
