Biography

Jacob was born about 1700, probably in Oberhochstadt. He married Anna Margaretha there about 1725 and they had at least 10 children in Oberhochstadt.

Immigration: He came to America on 4 October 1751 on the sailing ship "Queen of Denmark". He and his family settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

He married Anna Margaretha. One secondary source says her name was Meyer; a duplicate profile for Anna Margaretha says her name was Straley. The lists of children appear identical in all sources identified, which all cite the children listed in Hochstadt book identified by Annette K Burgert. All children born in Oberhochstadt, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany:
