Biography
Johannes was born about 1739.
Johannes Wolford immigrated from Rotterdam to Philadelphia August 24, 1750 on the ship Brothers. He settled in the area of Hagerstown, Maryland, buying 100 acres (deed) December 19, 1764 from Jacob Funk, founder of Funktown, Maryland. First land 1760- 50 acres.
He passed away in 1796.
