Biography
There is no documentary evidence this person existed. The fictional character, Charles Augustus Womack (sometimes William Charles Augustus Womack), was created by John Warburton Womack and included in his biography in 1889 and published in the book series American Ancestry,Womack, John Warburton. The biography includes the claim that John Warburton Womack was descended from two bishops of the Church of England, William Warburton and Lawrence Womack. This theory was debunked in the early 1900s, but is still being used by some Womack historians today. For more detailed information on the errors and fabrications in this theory see John Warburton Womack Ancestry - Fraud.Shirley Dalton 18:31, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
Warning: Check the data.
A parent's death date (Womack-124 died 1620) should not be more than 120 years before one of their children died (Womack-1497 died Nov 1732) . This would mean the child lived to be over 120.

Primary profile data collected by Varnell-40 07:24, 11 January 2016 (EST) from the well-documented and copyrighted work, "My Womack Ancestors", of Roger Gail Womack[2]. Discrepancies should be noticed and corrected as better sources become available.
Source documents appear to support the Geni website[3]. However, Geni claims four children: William, Jane, Lawrence, and Abraham.
Supplementary profile data collected by Varnell-40 13:25, 29 September 2015 (EDT) from the Rootsweb website of Mary K. Leitner[4]. It may not be 100% accurate, but it is as close to accurate as we can attain given the information and sources available to us.
LDS supports wife Mary Judd, father Lawrence Womack, and sons William and Lawrence. I find no primary source supporting wife Abriel Gower.
An Ancestry search for Abriel Gower, 1587-1677, returned the comment, "Although there may be many good matches for your ancestor in our content, we can't return good matches without more information."[5]

There is a conflict between the death date (1610) of William Charles Augustus Womack and the birth date of his son William Womack (1620). Does anyone have any information that would give the correct death and/or birth dates for these profiles?
There is a circular relationship between Lawrence Womack-121 and William Charles Augustus Womack-124. This is best understood by looking at the profile for Womack-124 which shows Womack-121 as both father and son.
Might also check out William Womack-201, son of this William. He is also said to be married to Abriel Gower and Jane Gower. Think some research needs to happen.
Better, but you don't need to keep the gedcom User ID and date changed. The comment about the disagreement as to identity of his wife does not belong under heading Footnotes; it should be up in the main bio area. It is an important area of disagreement.
Womack-223 and Womack-124 appear to represent the same person because: I absolutely believe that the person identified in this profile by first name, preferred name, LNAB, CLN, birth date and death date is identical or within acceptable limits to the person identified in the primary profile.
